Online Tools: FTP Managers
It's very common to use an FTP client to upload files to a server from your computer. In this case you need to install the software before you can use it. Instead of installing an FTP client, you could use an FTP manager directly from the browser through any of the sites listed below. They allow you to securly login and upload your files to your host.
net2ftp
net2ftp is a web based FTP client. It is mainly aimed at managing websites using a browser. Edit code, upload/download files, copy/move/delete directories recursively, rename files and directories -- without installing any software.
WebFTP.co.uk

Once logged in you will have all the features of a normal FTP program, but this time it all works through your browser! You can create, upload or edit files and set permissions via CHMOD and other techie wizardry. We do not log your passwords and the whole system is safe and secure.
Jambai FTP

Once you have logged in, you can browse from directory to directory and see all the subdirectories and files. There are 3 different ways to upload files: the standard upload form, the upload-and-unzip functionality, and the Java Applet. Click on a filename to quickly download one file. Select multiple files and click on Download; the selected files will be downloaded in a zip archive. Different formats are supported: .zip, .tar, .tgz and .gz. Handy to import files to your FTP server, or to export files from your FTP server to another FTP server. Edit text right from your browser; every time you save the changes the new file is transferred to the FTP server.
